This is one of my families favorite places to go! It is absolutely beautiful on a spring day. This garden is full of Antique roses, wildflowers, perennials and herbs. The gardens surround 19th century building, I believe some were build by the original homesteaders. They have several themed gardens. My almost 3 year old cried when we had to go. You can see the staff working in the gardens and gift shops-they are very friendly. We usually bring a picnic lunch and eat at the picnic tables in the back under the oak trees. Across the street there are fields of bluebonnets.
