The Dallas Arboretum is a 66 acre garden full of flowers, trees, paths and a view of White Rock Lake. It is a wonderful plan to take the kids for a picnic. You are welcome to bring your own food but no balls, frisbees or pets. There is a Texas pioneer village with small houses that the kids can play in. During the Spring's "Dallas Blooms" and Fall's Great Pumpkin Festival there are actiities weekly for "Mommy and Me Monday" and "Tiny Tot Tuesday". There are also often concerts at the ampitheater stage.
