Lupe Tortilla's restaurants started in Houston and have stayed "small" and all are built like the original style...built in what was an old home. It is cozy for families or groups, colorful, and kid-friendly. They have a great kids menu and offer nice plastic ware for children if you forgot your kiddy utensils. The most wonderful thing is that Lupe Tortillas have a great sand lot/clean playground attached to each of their restaurants. They are easy to access for children and adults. They have safe toys and lots of room so children are happy, while it is close to patio tables and a bar area if mom and dad want to enjoy a cool margarita or a cold glass of tea while they watch...or full menu is available too. LOVE IT. We even had our son's first birthday party at one on the North side of Houston. GREAT SERVICE and lots of fun.
