Wheeler Historic Farm is a shangri la for any animal loving kid, and the grassy hills and picnic areas were a dream for our newly crawling little one as well. It is free to visit the farm, and in late spring is a field trip mecca,but that did not bother us. Pony rides, if so inclined will cost a few dollars, as well as evening milking. We had so much fun looking at all the animals and playing with the ducks in the big pond. It was the perfect morning outing on our way home to San Diego, creating happy and exhausted toddlers!
