For the children, there are wonderful shops and museums. Dining is completely family friendly and most of the downtown area is animal friendly as well. The shop owners all put out bowls of water for pets. What is great is the amount of things to do. Ghost story walking tours, ferry rides, trolley tours, historic sites, fudge shops and ice cream parlors visited by presidents!
