Carkeek park must be one of the prettiest playgrounds in Seattle, and one of the most fun for kids. The park overlooks Puget Sound. Not only are there several play areas to choose from, but there's a huge salmon slide, kid-size caves, and benches overlooking the train tracks (perfect for train-spotting).
