The lake itself has a 3 mile paved path around that is always a hit for a stroller or bike/wagon walk. There is a fabulous playground on site for kids of all ages. In the summer there is a boat house open that rents pontoon boats and other small water craft to rent by the half hour out on the lake. If you are brave (it's cold) you can even swim in the summer. There are also many coffee shops and restaurants around the lake that are kid friendly.
