Local children flock to the Japanese garden on sunny mornings (especially during the spring and fall when the garden is especially beautiful). Why? They enjoy the garden paths, waterfall, koi and turtles in this 3 1/2 acre park. Even better, they can pick up fish food at the entrance gate and feed the Koi from a platform built over the water. The Japanese garden is mostly stroller friendly.
