My daughter loves making waffles during the free continental breakfast. It is also one of the few hotels near downtown with a pool. (The pool area is very nice, but you enter in the parking garage, so be sure to bring shoes and something warm to wrap up in, especially during wintertime.) We love riding the free shuttle to Westlake Center Mall, where we hop on the Monorail to Seattle Center for the Children's Museum.

HI there...I have been following your blog for sometime. I am originally from Seattle (Hubs too). We live in LA with our 3 children under 3 yo. I know.
We are headed to Seattle in Jan 2012...booked Alaska Air for $40 one way from BUR-SEA!! So....I saw you listed the Silver Cloud in. I called, and they NO LONGER offer free breakfast. You may want to double check and update the info. Any suggestions of other fam-friendly hotels w/ breakfast? Thanks!
