Taste, located inside the recently redone Seattle Art Museum may look too hip for toddlers, but the restaurant does a great job of catering to kids with a $5 kids menus. Adults will enjoy the menu, which focuses on fresh local ingredients with dishes like ricotta gnocchi and pan roasted trout. If the kids get too wiggly to sit in their seats, a quick walk through the SAM lobby (my kids LOVE the "flashing cars" exhibit) should help them get their jiggles out.
