What child wouldn't love a tour of a chocolate factory? What adult wouldn't love to taste some of the best chocolate in Seattle? Theo's is the only roaster of organic cacao beans in the United States, and unlike most chocolate makers, handles every step in the chocolate making process, from roasting the beans to forming and wrapping candy bars.
While this tour isn't targeted towards children, there are enough visual aids and tasting opportunities scattered throughout the tour to keep most kids engaged (or at least quiet). You'll see every step of the process, right from the factory floor, beginning with samples of real cacao bean pods. Note that while tours run on weekends, the factory does not, which means that there is less activity, but also less noise.
