Tips for Seattle with Kids

If you're looking for a babysitter in Seattle, consider Best Sitters Inc. at 206-682-2556.

Discount tickets and coupons for many seattle area attractions (including kids activities) can be found at SeattleAttractions.com

We also like the Seattle Tour Saver coupon book. At $80, it isn't cheap, but if you intend to take a seaplane ride, a boat tour, or stay in one of the listed hotels, this can be an incredible value.

Baby gear rentals, including cribs, high-chairs, strollers and more are available from Tiny Tots Travel

Getting to and from SeaTac Airport with Kids
The easiest way to get downtown from the airport is on the Seattle Light Rail. Trains depart the station every 10 minutes, and arrive at two downtown stations - Westlake Center and University Station. Kids ride without carseats on the train, meaning that you'll have less to lug along on your trip. If you have a lot of luggage, you might consider sending one parent in a taxi with the luggage while the other takes the train with the kids.

Seattle Airport Car Service With Car Seats
Two local companies provide competitively priced car service from SEA-TAC airport to downtown (and other destinations) that can include a Carseat on request. Both the car service and car seat need to be booked in advance and should be reconfirmed on the day of the reservation. Both services offer a flat rate, which means that in traffic they work out cheaper than a taxi.
