A museum filled with glass art might seem like the last place to take young children, but actually the Museum Of Glass makes a great outing even for toddlers. The gallery space is small and has several designated spots where children can touch the displays. You might start there, while your child's attention span is at it's best.
Next, head to the Hot Shop where visitors sit in stadium seating and watch as a visiting artist creates glass art. A narrator explains what is happening, and the support staff and other people working in the hot shop make sure that there is plenty to watch.
Finally, visit the art studio where kids can create an art project related to the current exhibition, or just sit and color.
A small cafe serves lunch and snacks.
