The kids aren't interested in the shopping, traffic bogs us down getting to and from the hotel each day, and most ...

I've been to Vancouver a dozen times or more, and yet, I've never visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Just across the Lion's Gate Bridge from Downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park, word has it, that the Capilano Suspension Bridge is Vancouver's number one attraction. Everyone else has ...

There's no good Persian food in Seattle. That might not sound like a big deal to you, but for my husband who grew up eating the rich savory stews and almost-buttery meat kabobs on a daily basis, it's like living in the desert. We've made a practice ...

I'm a sucker for architectural design, and I just loved this lantern at Vij's in Vancouver. PS besides great lighting, the restaurant is easily my favorite Indian restaurant anywhere.

I never miss an opportunity to stop at this Granville Island bagel shop when I'm in Vancouver. The bagels are terrific, but it's the homemade cream cheese that elevates them to perfection.

If you're visiting Stanley Park with kids, you probably won't have much time to admire the view - you'll be too busy at the Aquarium, the playground, the farm, and the mini-train. Perhaps you can snap a photo and enjoy it after the kids are in bed?

The completion for "best dim sum in Vancouver" is fierce, and everyone has an opinion about where to go. Your kids won't care, though, and whether they're picky (like mine) or up for anything, the trays and carts full of fresh dim sum are fun to choose from ...

We were invited guests of the Four Seasons Resort Vancouver on this trip. The hotel did not require that I express a particular point of view, and I always strive to present a fair and balanced review regardless of who is paying the bill.

We were all up at relatively the same time this morning. The best word to describe E’s mood is bubbly. He keeps repeating “you woke up in a hotel room” and seems absolutely delighted. Since our suite has a dining table, we thought it would be extra fun to ...
