Photo Friday: A Little Wind

Kite flying at Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan Puerto Rico
Kite flying at Castillo San Felipe del Morro in San Juan Puerto Rico

Unless you're the mom, you probably wouldn't spot E in this shot (he's the kid in orange, flying the kite). Still, the building drama of the clouds blowing in, the wide expanse of grass, and Old San Juan in the background capture my memories of this afternoon on our recent trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico

I'll be posting more about the trip next week, so be sure to come back and check it out!

My kids had so many happy hours flying kites - my favourite is to find a wide stretch of sandy beach

I hope using flickr is ok, my blog is on hiatus right now. :) I just love going through my old travel photos again, it's the best souvenir!

I'm a big fan of dramatic sky photos. Some of my favorites in my collection come from Versailles - every time I go there I feel like I've stepped into a Fragonard painting.

That’s a beautiful photo I hove how the kite looks in the middle of the sky. Oh and by the way there is a fortress in Guatemala called Castillo San Felipe too. :)
