Lately Everest is obsessed with maps. That makes it easy to take him to just about any activity. As long as there's a map at the visitor center, and we're willing to put him in charge of guiding the family, he's ready to go.

  • The focus of the post should be on your photo.
  • You don't need to be a professional photographer (I'm not), but do showcase your best work, and make it big enough to see well!
  • It's nice to include a few sentences about the photo, but it is not required.

Very cute pic! I am a bit obsessed with maps myself...my husband is always teasing me about that but the teasing quickly stops when I am able to get us out of spots when the GPS has misled us.

Wishing you and your family a very good holiday season. May 2011 bring you more magical adventures, peace, good books and lots of happiness!

Everest would get on with my husband, he's obsessed with maps! It's a good thing too, I'm useless with them! Merry Christmas Debbie.

I became fascinated with maps at leastby 3rd grade when I remember the old SRA reading program had a self-paced program on Maps and Globes. If you are a AAA member see if you can get a trip-tik for your kids for your next road trip. I loved those as a kids.

Those trip-tiks were fascinating, but I'm pretty sure they don't do them anymore :(

My 6 year old loves maps as well! He is always drawing his own. He even calls Lego instructions "maps".
