Photo Friday: Vancouver Dim Sum

Dimsum in Vancouver
Dimsum in Vancouver

The completion for "best dim sum in Vancouver" is fierce, and everyone has an opinion about where to go. Your kids won't care, though, and whether they're picky (like mine) or up for anything, the trays and carts full of fresh dim sum are fun to choose from.

Yum, Yum, Dim Sum! We love it and always seek out good dim sum places when we travel. Haven't been to Vancouver yet with our kids but can't wait to try the dim sum there.

Our favorite dim sum book is Grace Lin's "Dim Sum for Everyone"

I've been thinking about dim sum lately - I want to take the boys to one in Philly. It won't be as good as Vancouver for sure, but I hope we can find a good place.

This makes me so hungry for Yum Chow and Trader Joe's frozen Cha Shu Bao aren't going to cut it. Do you think any of the Dim Sum establishments in Vancouver would be interested in moving to where there is absolutely no competition?

We LOVE dim sum in Vancouver. We have a Boxing Day of Dim Sum tradition which prompted a bit of research. Our fave Vancouver spots are Sun Sui Wah on Main Street, Floata in Chinatown, and the Pink Pearl on Hastings. They all have seafood galore! And kids are always welcome. I'll bet the neighbouring Richmond has some excellent spots also ... we haven't ventured that far yet.

Vancouver dim sum is very popular in all the restaurants in Canada...But still my personal favorite is "Kirin" because it is the best and ahve no comparison with other restaurants...Dim Sum is a recipe of China and it's taste is awesome...

I love dim sum so much.... It is really amazing and irresistible indeed and ones you tasted if you can't help yourself craving for it. The way it was made amazes me so much and the taste is really mouth watering. Oh my god I am actually drooling right now.
