On our most recent trip to Rome, we rented our apartment through ComfortItialia. While our specific apartment is no longer available, our overall experience was good and we recommend the agency.
The apartment itself was bigger than we expected, and the location was excellent. Things were a little rough around the edges (as is common in Rome) but the agency responded to any problems that we ran into and even agreed to hold some luggage for us while we ventured north. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well stocked.
The agency provided a crib-sized pack-and-play.
