Here in the winter kids have a lot of energy after being cooped up most days. This bounce house was super fun for my kids AND us adults. My kids were tiny the first time we went and they loved it then and they love it now. My husband and his brothers went through all the blow up mazes and slides many times laughing like kids. We were so wore out after we ALL went to bed early. Ha, ha. more

There is a great children's garden that even older kids will enjoy. Not only that, but the whole garden is a great place to visit. With the fish pond, the waterfall, the animals roaming around.
Make sure you take a snack for the kids. Sometime, the walking around can be a little exhausting. There are snakes, so be prepared.
Public transportation is available, a plus!
Other than that, enjoy the beautiful scenery and the great smells! more

WOW! What a place. My kids favorite is the Dinosaur Museum. I like the IMAX theater. The food is great also. We have only been there a few times so we haven't got to see all that they have to offer. There are activities for every season. Right now it is fall and they have a corn maze, barnyard boo (fun for the younger spooks), culinary classes, gardens, etc. My only wish was that we lived closer so that we could visit more often. more

Wheeler Historic Farm is a shangri la for any animal loving kid, and the grassy hills and picnic areas were a dream for our newly crawling little one as well. It is free to visit the farm, and in late spring is a field trip mecca, but that did not bother us. Pony rides, if so inclined will cost a few dollars, as well as evening milking. We had so much fun looking at all the animals and playing with the ducks in the big pond. It was the perfect morning outing on our way home to San Diego, creating happy and exhausted toddlers! more
