Visiting a brewery might seem like a strange recommendation coming from a website about traveling with kids, but the Redhook Brewery's factory tour is one of my kids favorite Woodinville activities. The tour begins with information about Redhook's history and the opportunity to taste several different beers, so you may choose to join the tour after about 20 minutes, just in time for the visit to the bottling operations. Redhook runs its entire bottling operation from this facility. The line is almost entirely automated, requiring only four attendants to run. Kids love watching the bottles make their journey through the washer, the filler, into crates and up the conveyor belt to the warehouse. Note that the clanging bottles are quite loud, so this might not be a great choice for babies.
The Redhood Brewery Restaurant (at the same site) has pleasant indoor and outdoor seating as well as a reasonably priced kids menu.
