This beautiful resort welcomes kids with a toy from the "toy wagon" and a gift in the room. The pool area, while not huge, was very pleasant with a wading pool, swimming pool, hot tub, a splash fountain, and poolside dining. Rooms included all the creature comforts you would expect at a Four Seasons property and can be babyproofed by hotel staff prior to your arrival (a child sized robe and slippers will also be placed in your room). What I found most helpful, though, were the small touches - a swim diaper in the room, step stools in the public restrooms, a valet staff that was able to recommend playgrounds and kid-friendly restaurants, and a great kids menu at both the restaurant and room service. more

There are a number of family-oriented activities for all ages at La Costa including a beach pool with a waterpark and slides, as well as Kidtopia and TeenZone facilities with daycare for young kids and teens alike. The property is Mommy and Daddy friendly too with a full spa and golf course. Guest rooms have kitchenette facilities and the location is central for regional exploration. more
