I love these printable paper dolls. They'd make a great activity for a long plane flight or road trip. Want something a little more chic for your family trip to Paris? Here's a printable kelly bag

There's a great discussion at Mother of All Trips about worst travel experiences with kids. This one reminded me of my own worst flight, a British Airways flight where the check-in agent took it upon herself to randomly confiscate items from my carryon... including limiting the number of diapers I could bring on board!. Did I mention I was traveling alone with him from Paris to Seattle? How about the fact that I was 8 months pregnant. Luckily he was a dreamboat on the plane, but the fact that she confiscated some of his toys didn't exactly make things easier. And those diapers? He blew through the last one while I was waiting in the lost luggage office in Seattle. But Mara is right... bad days happen at home too, there's no reason to give up traveling for fear of a rough day.

Simple Mom has a great article about the benefits of raising kids cross-culturally.

Wendy Perrin shared some great deals at Ritz Carlton's around the world. Personally, I'd love to tag along while my kids bake cookies with a Ritz chef in the hotel's kitchen.

I mentioned last week that there have been some great deals to Hawaii. Arthur Frommer blogged this week about the best places to find deals to Hawaii
