I'm a sucker for architectural design, and I just loved this lantern at Vij's in Vancouver. PS besides great lighting, the restaurant is easily my favorite Indian restaurant anywhere.

     Oooooo. Love Vij's. Do you take your little ones there? I'm curious. We've only ever done "date night" there. So yummy and really cool ambiance. Beautiful shot btw.

     We've planned to go to Vij's 2 or 3 different times but something has always conspired against us to thwart our plans. Indian is far and away our boys' favorite food so "next time" really has to be "next time".

     I love architectural and decor details, too! I think I'd be pretty mesmerized by the reflections of this lamp, though.

     jackie - we've eaten in Vij's Rangoli (the more casual restaurant next door) with the kids - Between the more formal atmosphere and the (sometimes) long wait for a table, I think they'd have a tough time at Vij's.
