Photo Friday: Fall Colors

Kids cross the bridge to the Suncadia Lodge
Fall has really and truly arrived in Seattle, and my family took a short road trip to Suncadia Resort last weekend to enjoy the fall colors. The kids loved being out and about in the mountain air, and so did I!

What is Photo Friday?
- Post a travel photo on your site. It can be about any topic, as long as it is G-rated.
- The focus of the post should be on your photo.
- You don't need to be a professional photographer (I'm not), but do showcase your best work, and make it big enough to see well!
- It's nice to include a few sentences about the photo, but it is not required.
- Link back here so that your readers can see all the other great Photo Friday posts.

I love fall colours. This is our first spring in a country that actually has proper season, the flowers and leaf buds appearing every where are just so gorgeous.

That looks like a lovely spot for a fall walk! Our leaves seem to be particularly spectacular this year - or maybe I'm just pausing more often to appreciate them.

What a fun road trip destination! You are right--fall has arrived in Seattle! While I really enjoyed our early fall of warm, sunny weather, I glad the "real" fall is finally here :)

hmmm ... exactly one year ago I was visiting Seattle and experiencing the excellent wine there. (which was a surprise for me!)
