Photo Friday: The Hardest Part is Over!

I'm glad *someone* is relaxed!
I'm glad *someone* is relaxed!

I find the process of hustling everyone through the airport and getting them into their seats stressful (really, it's the hardest part of every trip for me). Sometimes it helps for me to take a good look at what the kids are up to and realize that they are just enjoying the experience . . . as we all should.

What is Photo Friday?

  • Post a travel photo on your site. It can be about any topic, as long as it is G-rated.
  • The focus of the post should be on your photo.
  • You don't need to be a professional photographer (I'm not), but do showcase your best work, and make it big enough to see well!
  • It's nice to include a few sentences about the photo, but it is not required.
  • Link back here so that your readers can see all the other great Photo Friday posts.

Even with older kids, getting through the airport still stresses me out. Once we get to the gate and sit down then I exhale - it's all easy after that!

Isn't that the truth.... Even though my son is older it is still stressful. Weaving your way through all the people. I want to like hold his hand which he finds mortifying haha, just so I don't loose him.

Always the hardest part, once we get on the plane I breathe a big sigh of relief!

I have to say I feel giddy every time I finally click my airplane seatbelt!;-)

Ha! He's got to be one of the most relaxed passengers I've seen on an airplane in a while! He knows what's important ;-)
The whole airport process is such a different experience now that our little guy is along for the ride.

We loved Debs recommendations during our recent stay in London. We stayed at the ME hotel in the West End. We were conveniently located for evening trips to the Theater district and saw, Proof, Let it Be and Matilda. All excellent. thanks Deb for the recommendations of Oxford for Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland sights. We really enjoyed Stonehenge, Windsor, Buckingham Palace, V&A museum and British Museum as well. Read Deb Dubrow when traveling with kids. The whole family will thank you!
