Photo Friday: A New Year and More Travel Ahead
With the new year, I'm always inspired to make a list of the places I most want to visit. Where are you dreaming of exploring this year?

What is Photo Friday?
- Post a travel photo on your site. It can be about any topic, as long as it is G-rated.
- The focus of the post should be on your photo.
- You don't need to be a professional photographer (I'm not), but do showcase your best work, and make it big enough to see well!
- It's nice to include a few sentences about the photo, but it is not required.
- Link back here so that your readers can see all the other great Photo Friday posts.

Happy New Year to you and your family! We're hoping to explore Bavaria Germany and hopefully a part of Central America. Wishing you more travel adventures this year.

We are headed to Kauai this month and planning loads of weekend trips around the PacNW. Hoping to build a trip back to Europe this fall, and really trying to squeeze in our first family trip down to Central or South America. Fingers crossed on that one. Budget and hubby's vacation time may get in the way.

Happy New Year to you and your family! What a beautiful week we've had here in Seattle to start the new year. We have a lot of domestic & PacNW travel this year...heading up to the San Juan Island this month. Phoenix in March...couple Montana trips, but I'm really hoping (&dreaming) to join my brother's family for a trip to the Outer Banks in NC--a place I spent a lot of time in as a kid.

Happy New Year to you and your family! Love that beautiful photo of New Year's morning...looks like 2013 is already off to a nice start :)
I am hoping that we will be able to make it to Montreal and Mexico this year. We have recently moved back to the States so there are also a ton of places to explore on the East Coast, too.
May 2013 be a year full of happy travels, good books, and lots of laughter for all of us!

I'm not dreaming of any one place, just dreaming of selling up and hitting the road. No more sitting at home while the husband works, no more desperately saving every cent, just being out there, living, seeing and experiencing. Only 6 months to go now, fingers crossed, Asia, it's always Asia for me.

Very happy new year. Your photo Friday information is nice. I don't know about it. So thank you.

Don't have any totally set plans yet. Here are a few of my ideas haha. I do want to take some weekend trips close to home. This March I am hoping to take a road trip to Shiloh Battlefield, TN, then to Tupelo, MS and down the Natchez Trace to Vicksburg, MS. In June a long weekend trip to the Kansas Flint Hills. A solo trip in July, no idea where yet. An October fall colors trip to Ohio maybe or Gettysburg, PA. Those are just a few of my ideas right now. Hope to firm things up soon. Love this Photo Friday, I enjoy seeing all the fun travel pictures people put up. Thanks!

Planning a trip to the Smokies right now, followed by West Tennessee, many stops around Ohio- time to explore the home state. I'd love to take an RV trip out West. We'll see. Oh, and Toronto for TBEX. :)

Happy New Year! Thanks for continuing to host Photo Friday! We're headed to NYC in the spring, but haven't determined our next European destination yet. We'll see!

Our plans for family travel in 2013: Off to San Francisco - catching a ferry to Angel Island State Parkin the middle of the bay. We will be backpacking as a family to a campsite with a view of the city and bridges.
Other than that, we may be camping in the San Juan mountains in SW Colorado.
