Traveling with a child who has severe food allergies certainly means extra work for parents, but it needn't mean that the family never go anywhere. In researching my articles on this subject I consulted parents who had been to destinations as far reaching as Vietnam and Morocco with children who had life-threatening allergies. All of them seemed to feel that the chance to explore with their kids was worth the extra work
