Even since my husband was there on one of his deployments, (navy) he hasn't stopped talking about how beautiful it is and how he can't wait to take the family there. I'm sure our daughter would love seeing real castles considering shes a little princess! lol

  136. Jackie Doty on August 11, 2009 at 9:42 a.m.

This would be for my daughter who is having her first baby. She was laid off so this would be a great gift for her. I would love to tke my grand daughter to Disney when she gets older (florida) I have a second daugher having a girl one month after hers. Sept and Nov. And I have my year old grandson. To take all three of them there would be the greastest gift a grandma could have. To spend a week with her grandchildren at one of the worlds most excited parks.

  137. Heather Drumm on August 11, 2009 at 9:48 a.m.

I left and attraction on the city guide, Knoebel's Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA. The best place to go for rides!

I am getting ready to adopt in mid September and try induced lactation. Wish me luck.

I hope to take my daughter to the UK one day. I'm an avid reader and a history buff and I would like to show her how the settings and history in teh books I read really come to life. I hope it will foster a love of reading, travel, and learning in her.

What mommy doesn't want to take their child(ren) to Disney World. My son is only 3 and I have another boy coming in December, and there aren't too many cities my boys would really appreciate except the super fun ones. That's why Disney World is the epitome of a vacation for kids!

  141. Beth on August 11, 2009 at 10:04 a.m.

We can't wait to take our kids to the National Zoo. They love animals and would have a blast there.

  143. Jennifer Whitney on August 11, 2009 at 10:37 a.m.

I saw an IMAX film a few years ago about a group of people (including children and seniors) climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro together. Since then, it's become my dream to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro as a family once my youngest reaches 12. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I have plenty of time to talk him round!

  144. Mara Lockard on August 11, 2009 at 11:49 a.m.

I would love to take my family to San Francisco. My soon-to-be 9year-old daughter was born in Monterey, but as a military family, that was a few moves ago. We've kept saying we're going to get back to visit California, but my husband has deployed 4 times since then and we never seem to get the chance...

  145. Alison Cummings on August 11, 2009 at 12:07 p.m.

Washington, DC! I can't wait to take my soon to be arriving baby(end of August) to visit my family in Washington, DC. There is nothing more inspiring than the Mall and its momunments that represent freedom, liberty, opportunity, and democracy. Also, can't wait to introduce the whole family to the addition to the family.

  146. Neisha Teer on August 11, 2009 at 12:08 p.m.

I left a restaurant and attraction listing in the city guide, Gringo's Mexican Kitchen and Noah's Ark Pool. Both are places we love to go as a family. I've also subscribed to your feed, I can't wait to see what wonderful tips I'll get to make traveling easier and more fun for EVERYONE!

I'm expecting my 3rd daughter in a few months and have enjoyed breastfeeding each of the older 2 (4 yrs & 2 yrs). I encourage any mom to stick with it in the beginning, because it's hard work but has wonderful rewards!

My husband and I would LOVE to take our girls 2 places: Disney World and Colorado. Being in TX, we would love our girls to be able to experience the mountains we love so much. I also think every kid should experience Disney World at least once in their childhood. What better time when your imagination can carry you away to wonderful, magical worlds? ...one day!

I would love to take my children to my Dad and Mom's birthplace of Colombia. Most people think of it as such an unsafe country, however, not all of it is bad.
It has some beautiful beaches, architecture, and great parks. There's a cathedral made of salt that I would to see someday. There's a "sugar cane park", it's an amusement park. So much to see, so little time...and money.

For another entry, I made a recommendation for a kid friendly activity near Los Alamos. Bandelier is best known for its ancestral Pueblo dwellings. It was inhabited from the 1100s into the mid-1500s. Ladders are provided so you can enter cliff dwellings. Talk about an exciting history lesson!

Though I don't have any kids of my own... I do have a couple of "nephews" that I treat like my own children! I love taking them to do the most simple things... they love the beach, the zoo, a simple day at the park with kites flying! When we've traveled together, they really enjoy seeing the local zoo! I am hoping to win a freestyle for my "little sister" who is expecting in September! It is my baby gift to her!

Hi, I found your blog through google images when researching the picture of a baby cot on BA. I want to go to Prague, Czech Republic with my baby girl Sydney, she will be 6 months. So your blog gives me so much info becuase i will be travelling with breast milk in bottles. We will go for Christmas and my family has no idea, it will be a surprise ! For noone to find out, Im referring to this trip as going to a magical place at a magical time so everyone thinks we're going to Disneyland. But in fact, we're going to beautiful Prague where I grew up. My baby will be 6 monhts and my mom hasn't seen her and doens't think she will see her for many years as we live in Vancouver. There are so many attractions we will go to, but the one I want to mention is the exhibition of a baby jesus being born (Bethlehem) at the Prague castle which is the world's largest castle. I used to go there with my family on a Christmas Eve every year and it's one of my most beautiful childhood memory. It is truly magical. And btw, Monday is my birthday :)

When I was 6 months old I was adopted into an incredible family, but I always felt alone not knowing my birth family. I often dream of taking my son to South Korea so we could, together learn about the culture and where we are from. He and I now share a special, unbreakable bond and I would love to take part in such a tremendous experience with him.

I can't wait to visit my family with the new little one - Southern California; Houston, TX; and New York City. Probably in that order so I'll have my traveling down before hitting the big city. Want to be as mobile as possible. :) - Mary

Living in Florida, I have access to a lot of theme parks, zoos, beaches, and aquariums. On that note, I can not wait to take my little ones to Sea World Orlando when they get older. When I was younger I used to sit in the front row during Shamu's show and loved getting splashed with salt water as the killer whale put on a wonderful and magical show. I was always amazed by all the animals and how close you could get. Feeding the stingrays and getting up close and personal with monkeys and other animals was always a real treat and I absolutely can not wait for my kids to experience that kind of joy and see the smiles on their faces.
